10. Prambanan Temple, Indonesia
One of the UNESCO rated sites and is one of the ancient and largest Hindu temples in Java and was completely built around mid 9th century. The temple was initiated under Rakai Pikatan who belonged to Hindu Sanjaya dynasty. But in year 930 the temple was abandoned and deteriorate as the kingdom shifted towards east. And most part was collapsed as a major earthquake hit the area in 16th century. Again the ruins of Prambanan was rediscovered in the year 1895 and it attracted international attention in early 19th century. It is said that Ramayana dance performances were held in Parambanan. The worst hit temple got was in 2006 Yogyakarta earthquake Originally there were 240 temples out of which 3 Trimurti temples, 3 Vahana temples, 2 Apit temples, 4 Kelir temples, 4 Patok temples, 224 Pervades temples are very famous.
9. Medinet Habu, Egypt
Once a part of Rameses III kingdom, it is an important structure on the bank of Luxor in Egypt. The temple was first described in modern literature of Vivant Denon who visited the temple during the year 1799-1801 and the initial excavation took place in 1859 to 1899. Some temples are 150m long and is of a typical Orthodox design, and is surrounded by mud wall and the original entrance is a fortified gate house called migdol. It is somewhat 3000 years old and is a part of the valley of kings.

The temple locally is known by the name of es-Salamat and el-Colossat which is the name of two Staues of Pharaoh Amenhotep III who ruled Egypt. They were built in 1350 around 3500 years ago. They are located to the west of the Nile River from modern city of Luxor. The main function of the staues were to stand and guard the Temple of Amenhotep’s memorial temple. The temple covers a vast area of around 86 acres.
