John Candy was a comedic actor who graced the screen in the late 80’s early 90’s. Some of his more memorable performances consist of Barf from Mel Brook’s Classic “Space Balls” and co-star with Steve Martin in “Planes, Trains, and Automobiles.”
John Candy struggled with his weight his entire life, weighing in at 300 pounds. He passed away in Durango, Mexico March 4, 1994, at the age of 43 from a heart attack.
9. John Goodman
John Goodman graced the small screen as Dan Conner on the hit television show “Roseanne.” It wasn’t until later in his career did he land gigs on the silver screen. One of his more memorable roles is Fred Flintstone. “The Flintstones” was released in 1994. Since then he has had other roles. He has graced us in cult classics like “The Big Lebowski.” His latest film is “10 Cloverfield Lane.”
For most of Mr. Goodman’s life, he was overweight. At one point he weighed close to 400 pounds. Since then he has put himself on a strict diet and exercise plan which helped him lose over 100 pounds.
8. Rosanne Barr
Next to John Goodman is the lovely lady Roseanne Barr. Ms. Barr graced us with her sarcastic presents in the television hit show Roseanne from 1988 to 1997. Ms. Barr once hit a staggering 300 pounds. Since then Ms. Barr has undergone surgery to help her lose over 200 pounds.
While Ms. Barr did have surgery to help her shed the pounds, she is now an avid health nut. She works out, eats right and stays active to help her curb her weight.

Rebel Wilson is an Australian star that has had huge success in the United Stated. Since then, Ms. Wilson has started to drop some serious weight. Some sources say she has dropped over 50 pounds in the last several months.
6. IZ (Israel IZ Kamakawiwo’ole)
IZ was a famous Hawaiian musician who continues to grace the airways with his smooth vocals. One of his masterpieces was his rendition of “Somewhere over the Rainbow.” To this day, IZ’s version of that song is ranked at the top 100 wedding songs in the United States. It is also featured in several films and television shows since it was first released in 1993.
IZ was a heavy guy. At one point in his career, he was stated to have reached 757 pounds.
During his life, he was in and out of hospitals due to his morbid obesity. He passed away at the age of 38 due to heart, respiratory and other medical complications on June 26, 1997.

However, Mr. “Fluffy” has been around the comedic stage since 1997.
